Every passport has a range — how many places it opens without a visa in advance. Here are the 29 passports we cover, ranked by how many destinations they enter easily (visa-free or visa-on-arrival), each linking to the exact rules per country.

How to read it

Entry types

"Visa-free" — you board with just the passport. "Visa on arrival" — issued at the airport, usually for a small fee. "e-Visa / travel authorisation" (eVisa, ESTA, ETA) — a short online form you must get approved before flying. "Visa required" — an embassy or visa-centre application that takes time.

The ranking counts the first two as "easy". Rules change — before any trip check the country's page and the official source.

Passport & visa FAQ

How many countries can an Israeli passport visit without a visa in advance?
By our data an Israeli passport gives visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to about 144 destinations. The rest need an e-Visa or a visa in advance — see the Israeli passport page for the full list.
Is this the same as the Henley Passport Index?
The idea is the same — counting easy-entry destinations — but our sources and counting are independent, and we show the exact requirement per country, not just a number.
I hold two passports. Which one should I use?
Generally use whichever passport gives the easiest entry to that country — but enter and leave a country on the same passport. Check both pages and compare.
