Before you fly Emirates
Emirates flies via Dubai to the whole world, mostly on A380s with a bar in business and a shower in first. Even in economy the baggage allowance is generous (usually 25–35 kg).
The Dubai layover can be long. Emirates offers a free hotel on some tickets with a stopover over 8 hours — worth checking.
